RCMA No Color Powder

Hey beautiful people!
Is it spring yet?

So here I am, writing another review about make up product. It is one of my favourite posts to read and write. And of course I love sharing my experience and thoughts about tested products.
Today I will be talking about RCMA No Color Powder. I know, you probably thinking 'Oh hey, it's yet another brand I've never heard of '. That was my first thought too, so don't worry. RCMA stands for The Research Council of Makeup Artists and it was organised to further the research and development of specialised professional make-up products for the film, television and stage industry. This is one of the brands that professional make up artists use. First time I've heard about it was from Kathleen Lights and she mentioned that it was the best setting powder she ever used. Big statement, huh? And of course I had to get it. Because Kathleen said so... Please don't judge me.
I have been searching for my favourite setting powder for so long, but couldn't find anything in good price range and quality. Rimmel Stay Matte was my 'go to' powder for a while, but I wasn't fully happy with it. When Kathleen made such a big statement about this RCMA No Color Powder I thought it has to be good because damn, this girl tried it all! I've started my research. After browsing on the internet, I discovered the famous Wayne Goss review about the same product saying the same thing as Kathleen. So I ordered it.

First I was shocked how cheap it was. You get 3oz (around 86g) of product for £8.95! That is insane, because it will take you forever to get through this bottle. When I finally got it in my hands, I was a little bit skeptical about the packaging, it looked cheap, no fancy labeling and came in see through plastic bottle. I wasn't expecting miracles at all. Until I put it on my face... Normally, no matter what concealer or powder I put under my eyes it will crease like crazy. Nothing worked to stopped that. And then RCMA happened. I was shocked how well it sets my concealer and foundation. My under eye area looked crease free ALL DAY! I have oily/combination skin and I would normally need 2 or 3 powder touch ups through out the day, but with this bad boy on not even once! Bye bye oily chin and T-Zone! See ya later!
This powder has no colour at all, even though it looks snow white it will not change the colour of the foundation or concealer. It will suit every single skin tone from the lightest to the darkest shades. It does not give any flashback in photography and it makes your skin look flawless. The powder is so finely milled that when it goes on the skin it just disappears without much effort blending it or brushing it off. You can 'bake' with it or set the whole face and it will work wonders! So many people compare this to Laura Mercier Translucent powder and says that RCMA is actually better, but I cannot agree or disagree because I haven't tried the Laura Mercier one.And after trying RCMA, there is no looking back! I have to agree with so many people, it is THE BEST setting powder ever! I am so happy I finally found my holy grail product. If you can get your hands on it, you should definitely get it NOW because it sells fast!

For UK buyers you can buy it here or here.

  1. This sounds great! I'm after a setting powder like this but I've not wanted to splurge without knowing if i like it or not so this is a great price to try.
