New drugstore purchases

I've been trying to stay away from any kind of make up stores, simply because for the past few months I've spent waaaay too much money on it. As a beauty blogger, I love reading posts about new product releases and that is probably the worst thing to do if you can't control your money spending habits.
One of the New Year promises to myself was 'Save up some money'. And honestly, it is not going well just yet. I will get there, I promise. I had to pay a visit to Superdrug last week, as I've run out of my favourite foundation and of course, I could not leave the shop without getting some other bits and bobs. Not long ago I wrote about my new love for Revlon ColorStay foundation (you can read it here) and I picked the same one, just slightly lighter shade. I love this foundation, it has quickly become my number two foundation (L'oreal infallible is still on the top of my list) and I will be repurchasing it again and again.

Then walking around the shop I saw this Maybelline new release. I had no idea they've released SuperStay 24 locking setting spray and Superdrug had a deal 2 for £10, so I thought why not to try it out. I have been using it for few days and I still don't know whether I like it or not. I need more time to tell if it works, I guess.

As I mentioned Superdrug had a deal 2 for £10, my other purchase was this Dream Lumi Touch highlighting concealer. And I have to say I like it a lot! It is very brightening and leaves my under eyes looking fresh and awake. The shade I got was number 1, the lightest one, but once I applied it I was a little bit shocked how orange it was. But once I started blending it actually looked amazing.

I was getting annoyed with my old mascara, as I would see some black bits under my eyes by the end of the day, I guess a sign that I needed new one. So I went for L'oreal False Lash Sculpt mascara. This one works sooooo well on my lashes! It makes them look super long and full. It has very unique silicone wand, which allows you to tightline your waterline! How amazing is that?

And last, but not least TheBalm Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter. Ok, I know this has been all over the internet for soooooo damn long, but I only got it recently. I wanted to see whats all this rave about. Oh boy, how much I love this! I literally bath myself in to this highlighter. It looks so natural, even when you apply few layers of it.

I might do full reviews on few of these purchases, let me know if you would like me to write about specific item I've listed above.

Lots of love,
Indre xoxo

    1. I agree with you, Mary! It's my favourite too. But I am not sure about the pink one tho... Maybe it would work well mixed with the blusher? x
