Easy homemade chocolate Frappé

I am a huge coffee lover. I don't drink it too much, but when I do I enjoy every sip of it. Coffee smell gets me all excited and feel like, well, home. No matter where I would be. I enjoy coffee flavor very much and anything tastes like it - I want it! I know it might sound like it's not the right time of the year 'coz we all about that PSL and hot chocolates right now, but I still wanted to share this super easy homemade frappé recipe.

So what you will need:

Chilled coffee
Milk (soya, almond, coconut, hazelnut, goat, etc)
Chocolate sauce
Chocolate chips
Vanilla flavouring
Sugar (or sweeteners)
Ice cubes
Blender

Pour chilled coffee in to your blender and add ice. The amount of coffee depends on how strong you like it to be. I like mine to be kind of in between, so I can still taste the coffee. but I know it won't knock me of my feet.

Add chocolate chips. If you are using sugar then I would suggest to add it while you preparing coffee, I use sweeteners (trying to cut on sugar) so I added it with chocolate chips.

Add some milk. I used hazelnut, there is no special reason behind it, I just don't drink cows milk. You can use your favourite one. Again, the amount of milk depends how milky you want it to be.

Add a table spoon of vanilla flavouring. You can totally skip this one, if you don't like any other flavours in your drink. I use almond flavouring as well, so it gives me that amaretto taste to it, which I absolutely love!

Blend it all very well. If your blender is not powerful enough, the chocolate chips won't blend completely, so you will have some bits left while sipping through your drink. I, personally, don't mind it at all. Get a high glass and squeeze some chocolate sauce (or syrup) all around inside of your glass. Pour the content in and there you have it - delicious ice cold frappé! You can totally play around with flavours and ingredients and make it your own way. I think it's a perfect refreshment during the summer, but I don't mind sipping something cold during this time of the year too. Let me know if you have tried it, or maybe you have your favourite recipe you would like to share with me! I would love that.

Lots of love,
Indre xoxo
