Quick and easy peanut butter mug cake

Happy Monday!

You know one of those moments when you crave something sweet so bad, you literally could kill someone? Yes, I know you do. Well, maybe not kill someone but pretty much close, right?
So this is how I felt lately. My sweet cravings was so bad I couldn't resist few sugary chocolate bars and cookies. Sadly, there is no treats in my house (dieting sucks sometimes) and my cravings won the battle with my inner voice. I have to come up with something quick sometimes. And that's where these mug cakes comes as a perfect idea for a super quick and delicious treat. Here is my favorite mug cake recipe.

What you'll need:
1 egg
1 Tbsp brown sugar (I didn't have brown, so used caster sugar instead)
2 Tbsp peanut butter (add more if you like)
1 Tbsp flour
1 Tbsp cocoa
1/4 tsp baking powder

In a small bowl, stir the egg, sugar, peanut butter, flour, cocoa and baking powder with a fork. Be aware, it only serves one so if you are making it for few mugs just add extra of each ingredient. You can also add chocolate chips.

Pour batter into a greased mug or any other container suitable for microwave. Microwave for about 1-3 mins depending on how powerful your microwave is.

Enjoy it straight from the mug or invert onto a plate. Add your favorite ice cream, jam or peanut butter sauce. I promise, it tastes delicious! It's very filling aswell, I guarantee it will kill all your sweet cravings for a long time!

Let me know if you've tried this cake or you have other delicious recipes!

Love,
